⛰️SUIT OF PENTACLES

What do Pentacles represent in tarot?

The Suit of Pentacles (sometimes called Coins) is the earth suit of the tarot. It rules the material world: money, work, health, home, and everything that takes patience to build. Pentacles questions are practical ones — will the job come through, is the investment sound, can the foundation hold — and the suit’s answers tend to favour slow, steady effort over luck.

From the Ace’s seed of opportunity, the numbered cards trace prosperity, loss, collaboration and long-term reward, ending in the Ten’s established legacy. The court cards embody the earth temperament at four stages: the studious Page, the methodical Knight, the nurturing Queen and the accomplished King. Reversed Pentacles often warn of insecurity, mismanagement, or valuing the material at the cost of everything else.
